Empowering neurodiversity achievements within apprenticeships nationwide

Full Diagnostic Assessment - Apprentice

Full diagnostic assessments with recommended adjustments for the workplace and for education / training, as well as an accompanying Form 8 which can be used to apply via OAA for EAA.

We offer full diagnostic assessments to confirm the presents of dyslexia and associated SpLDs, including developmental coordination disorder (DCD) / dyspraxia and for educational / workplace support attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder (ADHD).

Our full diagnostic assessments establish a detailed picture of how an individual processes information, identifying both strengths and challenges to provide personalised recommendations for support.

Following assessment, the apprentice and their training provider will receive a diagnostic assessment report that includes recommendations for the workplace as well as learning strategies appropriate for the context and level of study. We will also provide recommendations for specific assessment / examination adjustments.

A signed Part 2 of JCQ Form 8 will be provided to the training provider upon their request which includes all the evidence required for them to apply for exam access arrangements (EAA). To use this assessment to produce a Form 8, it is essential that the training provider supplies a partially completed Form 8 prior to the assessment.

Our team of specialist SpLD Assessors have considerable experience of neurodiversity in the workplace and educational settings. This expertise allows us to tailor our assessment services to meet the needs of training providers and neurodivergent apprentices.

Neurodiversity is good for business -

1 in 5 people currently living in the UK display different ways of thinking and are diagnosed with a neurodiverse condition, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism, ADHD and dyspraxia. Research states that over 40% of millionaires are dyslexic (1) and that the characteristics of ADHD are positively connected to both entrepreneurship and the initiation of business ventures (2). Research shows us that diverse workforces have a competitive edge, are more innovative and more profitable (3).

‘The assessor was kind, clear, and reassuring throughout the process, which made everything much more accessible and helped me feel at ease. The instructions were well-explained, and the tasks were presented very clearly and organised. Thanks to the supportive guidance, it was a smooth and stress-free experience.’
